I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I would send the above card out, but instead of flooding e-mail inboxes, I figure I would embed this card here so everyone can see it and so I can give thanks to the hardworking public relations departments from the TV and radio networks that send press releases to Fang’s Bites. Their work does not go unnoticed on this end.

For many of you, the names will not be familiar, but they are fine men and women who give 110% so they can spread the word on their employers in hopes of generating buzz, getting news coverage and giving their networks some publicity in advance of various sporting events. Having done PR work and been in the news business, I appreciate what they do so I recognize the people who have sent press releases or have been kind to respond to various requests I’ve made via e-mail or on Twitter in the past year. I think I have everybody that has sent me a network TV press release over the last year.

Thanks also to Joe Favorito who has done publicity for the play, “Lombardi”. I have to see the play before it closes, which I hope won’t be for a long time.

Happy Holidays to all and I’ll have a couple of more holiday posts before the night is out.
