Tonight, the characters of Mad Men dealt with the aftermath of April 4, 1968, the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. We saw Peggy hoping to buy a new apartment. Meagan Draper wins an award for her past work at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. Roger Sterling courts a new client. Pete Campbell hopes to make up with Trudy. Don Draper admits he can’t love and doesn’t want to deal with loss. And New York City burns.
