Inside Mad Men Season 5, Episode 3

If you’ve seen this week’s Mad Men episode, keep reading. If not, click “Back” on your browser.

In tonight’s episode, Betty finds that she has a lump, only later to find that it’s benign. Don and Harry try to get the Rolling Stones to make one of their songs into a commercial for Heinz and hang out with young groupies instead. Peggy attempts to hire a new copywriter. Pete announces Mohawk Airlines has returned as a client to Sterling, Cooper, Draper, Pryce and disses Roger in the process. Plus, there’s a retroactive shot at one of the current Republican Presidential candidates. It’s all in a day’s work for Mad Men.

In this video, Matt Wiener, Jon Hamm (who directed tonight’s episode) and Elisabeth Moss talk about this particular installment.

Costume designer Janie Bryant talks about creating a new wardrobe to accommodate Betty Francis’ weight gain.

If we get more videos in the next day or two, I’ll add them here.
