SEASON THREE EPISODES BEGIN JAN. 15th 2014 at 10 PM ET/PT

LOS ANGELES, December 17, 2013 – The acclaimed Showtime sports talk series, JIM ROME ON SHOWTIME is returning for a third season with new episodes starting on Wednesday, January, 15th at 10 PM ET/PT.  Beginning in February, JIM ROME ON SHOWTIME will continue to share the Wednesday original sports programming slot with 60 MINUTES SPORTS, which will air the first Wednesday of the month, while JIM ROME ON SHOWTIME will air the second Wednesday of the month throughout 2014.

Season two continued to push the envelope by creating a provocative and entertaining sports-talk environment, where the likes of Snoop Dogg can hilariously comment on winning a unique and illegal bet on the recent Mayweather/Canelo fight, and then segue into a panel discussion with Jarron Collins discussing his brother Jason’s announcement of being the first openly gay athlete in professional sports.  Rome’s numerous guests have included Kobe Bryant, Adrian Peterson, David Ortiz, Russell Wilson, Danica Patrick, Mark Cuban and Charles Barkley, discussing and debating the latest hot button sports topics and controversies.  Through his trademark style, Rome put the spotlight on the biggest and most fascinating figures and stories in the world of sports and pop culture in 2013.

Last year, Rome brought his signature voice to CBS Sports Radio and officially became the cornerstone for the new national sports radio network. The Jim Rome Show is syndicated via CBS Sports Radio to over 225 radio stations each weekday and boasts millions of listeners to the longest running, stand-alone syndicated sports talk radio program on the air today. In addition to his daily radio program, Jim signed a multi-year deal with CBS to contribute across multiple CBS Corporation platforms, including his weekday show ROME on CBS Sports Network which premiered in April 2012.  Rome also contributes to CBS Sports’ coverage of the NFL and NCAA basketball, as well as other select sporting events.

JIM ROME ON SHOWTIME is produced by GENERATE ENTERTAINMENT, INC.
