Golf Channel will have three live tournaments, the PGA Tour’s Transitions Championship, the LPGA Founders Cup in Arizona and then the European PGA Tour’s Sicilian Open in Italy. What day and what time is coming up.

  • Golf Central and Golf Central Pre Game on-siteThursday-Sunday, Golf Central and Golf Central Pre Game will broadcast live and on-site from Innisbrook Resort.  Todd Lewis, Charlie Rymer, John Hawkins and Scott Walker will report from the network’s Studio G set in front of a live audience.
  • Golf Channel To Air Live, Weekend Coverage: In addition to early-round coverage, Golf Channel will air two hours of live action Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. ET, leading in to NBC Sports’ live coverage.
  • Golf Channel on NBC: All golf coverage on NBC has been re-branded as “Golf Channel on NBC.” The coverage will incorporate the Golf Channel look throughout every telecast, down to the logo on the NBC Sports commentators’ apparel. Golf Channel’s tournament graphics will be showcased throughout all coverage, which now includes a custom-made Golf Channel-NBC peacock combination logo.
  • Srixon Protracer Featured: Srixon Protracer, a graphics technology that measures the flight and trajectory of a golf shot using superimposed graphics to show the ball flight, will be featured on several holes at the Copperhead Course.
  • Headlining the Field: World No. 1 Martin Kaymer, Jim Furyk, Steve Stricker, Padraig Harrington, Paul Casey, Retief Goosen, Nick Watney, Bubba Watson, Jhonattan Vegas, Stuart Appleby, Ryo Ishikawa, Matteo Manassero, David Duval and John Daly.

  • Inkster in the Booth During Friday’s Telecast – Juli Inkster is scheduled to join Hammons and Crafter in the booth on Friday as a guest analyst.
  • Jennifer Song, Rookie Spotlight – LPGA Rookie Jennifer Song will be Golf Channel’s rookie spotlight on Friday.  At every LPGA Tour event in which she competes, she donates 1/3 of her winnings to a local charity.
