NASCAR ON FOX’S 2010 FINALE AT CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY – The NASCAR on FOX 2010 Sprint Cup Series returns to Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 30 (5:00 PM ET) for the networks’ final race of the season. Everyone is chasing Kevin Harvick as the NASCAR Sprint Cup season approaches its midway point. With merely a 150-point gap separating the top-five of Kyle Busch, Matt Kenseth, Jimmie Johnson and Denny Hamlin, there’s sure to be exciting racing ahead before the 2010 Sprint Cup champion is crowned. Coverage starts with FOX NASCAR SUNDAY host Chris Myers, along with analysts Waltrip and Jeff Hammond from the Hollywood Hotel, FOX Sports’ traveling prerace set providing live interviews with drivers, crewmen and officials shaping the day’s action. Once the green flag drops, race announcer Mike Joy will be alongside analysts Waltrip and Larry McReynolds to call all the twists and turns on the track while Dick Berggren, Steve Byrnes, Krista Voda and Matt Yocum patrol the pits for up-to-the-second news and notes.

SUNDAY, MAY 30 – COCA-COLA 600, 5:00 PM ET
LARRY MCREYNOLDS: “DRIVERS RETURN TO FAMILIAR CHARLOTTE, HAVE NEW FACTORS TO CONSIDER” – This weekend, FOX Sports signs off on its 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup campaign by presenting the Coca-Cola 600 from Charlotte Motor Speedway with a twist – new left-side tires.  Former crew chief and current NASCAR on FOX analyst Larry McReynolds believes sensitivity of the track, coupled with temperatures cooling from start to finish will be a challenge.  “This new left-side tire has a lot of grip,” said McReynolds.  “The grip factor will really come into play this Sunday after the track cools down as the race progresses into evening hours. This tire doesn’t give up a lot and traditionally there is no track more temperature-sensitive than Charlotte Motor Speedway which makes for exciting racing this Sunday!”
