League Championship Series Schedules Announced

Major League Baseball has just released the days and times for the League Championship Series which start tomorrow. The American League Championship Series begin Saturday on Fox while the NLCS start Sunday on TBS.

Out a potential seven games, the National League Championship Series on TBS will have a potential six in primetime while the American League Championship Series will have a potential five at night.

Joe Buck and former Red Sox manager Terry Francona will call the first two games of the ALCS on Fox, then Joe’s regular partner, Tim McCarver will be back for the duration of the series in Game 3.

For the NLCS, Brian Anderson, Ron Darling and John Smoltz will call the games for TBS. ESPN Radio will have both series.

2011 LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES BROADCAST SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

Following is the national broadcast schedule for the American League and the National League Championship Series.  FOX Sports will provide national coverage of the American League Championship Series between the Detroit Tigers vs. Texas Rangers and TBS will provide national coverage of the National League Championship Series between the winners of the Philadelphia Phillies vs. St. Louis Cardinals and Milwaukee Brewers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks Division Series which will be determined tonight on TBS.  ESPN Radio will provide complete coverage of all League Championship Series games, and additional live coverage will be provided by XM Radio, MLB International and MLB.com.
