Cruz and Stann Serve as Analysts for UFC FIGHT NIGHT on FOX Sports 1

LOS ANGELES, CA – The Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®) returns to Brazil for UFC FIGHT NIGHT: MACHIDA VS. MOUSASI live on FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes on Saturday, Feb. 15 (10:30 PM ET), headlined by a five-round middleweight matchup between former UFC light heavyweight champion and current No. 4-ranked middleweight Lyoto Machida (20-4) versus former Strikeforce® Champion Gegard Mousasi (34-3-2).

According to UFC President Dana White, this fight has middleweight title contender implications: “If Machida wins, he could possibly be next in line for a title shot,” said White on an episode of FOX SPORTS LIVE last week. “The thing that makes the 185-pound division so interesting and so exciting right now is Vitor Belfort is fighting Chris Weidman next for the title, plus you’ve got Lyoto Machida, Jacare Souza and a list of nasty, nasty guys ready to fight for the belt.”

The UFC FIGHT NIGHT main card also features another key middleweight fight, with No. 3-ranked Jacare Souza (19-3, 1NC) facing No. 8-ranked Francis Carmont (22-7). Other bouts include welterweights Erick Silva (15-4, 1NC) versus Takenori Sato (17-8-7), Viscardi Andrade (15-6) against Nico Musoke (11-2, 1NC) in another 170-pound battle, and Charles Oliveira (16-4, 1NC) fights Andy Ogle (9-3) in a featherweight bout.
