“America’s Pregame” to Premiere on Fox Sports 1 in April

A new evening show will premiere on Fox Sports 1 in the 6 p.m. ET timeslot on April 7. It’ll be called “America’s Pregame” and according to Fox, it will set up the evening’s viewing for sports fan. “America’s Pregame” will take the place of “Fox Football Daily” which has been in the 6 p.m. ET period since the network launched last August.

And while FFD was originally a one-hour program, it has been airing in a half-hour format since after the Super Bowl. If you’re wondering, it appears that “Fox Football Daily” will has been cancelled for now.

So “America’s Pregame” will utilize the Fox Sports Net affiliates for breaking stories and to give some local perspective.

Mike Hill will be the nightly host and the show will originate from the Fox Sports World Headquarters in Los Angeles, CA.
