Working on a story that will appear in Awful Announcing on the return of Keith Olbermann to ESPN2. In the interim, I’ll provide you with some Twitter reaction from some of Keithy’s former and upcoming ESPN colleagues. Interesting to see who have tweeted.
Here’s MLB Network’s and NBC Sports Radio’s Brian Kenny who worked with Olbermann at ESPN/ESPN Radio.
Congratulations to both sides on @KeithOlbermann return to ESPN. Keith is a pleasure to work with, & a blast of honest skepticism.

ESPN hockey maven John Buccigross had this to say.
I'm once again no longer the only ESPN anchor with a January 27th birthday. Welcome back @KeithOlbermann #twoforonebirthdaycake

SportsCenter anchor Chris McKendry kept it simple.
Welcome back @KeithOlbermann!

Baseball Tonight’s Karl Ravech was genuinely happy to hear of Olbermann’s return.
@KeithOlbermann very much looking fwd to KO returning. IMO, when it came to anchoring SC, there was Keith, and then everyone else. Welcome

Randy Scott who has not worked with Olbermann shares his enthusiasm for Keithy’s return.
Been waiting more than a decade for this. @KeithOlbermann is coming back to ESPN. http://t.co/KPustPJaTQ

Olbermann referenced this during his media conference call, that he told his childhood friend, Chris Berman about his return at the MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday.
Had the pleasure of telling the good news to my old boss (I was in the 9th Grade) Chris Berman at #ASG last night pic.twitter.com/g14aZvD2G5

And lastly, we have the reaction of NESN’s Jack Edwards who worked with Olbermann at ESPN in the 1990’s. Jack is always colorful.
This week's sign that the apocalypse is upon us. ESPN tries to fend off late night irrelevance, brings back old comrade @KeithOlbermann.

I’m sure there will be more reaction down the line. With Keith, there always is.
