Fang’s Bites Podcast No. 17, Part 2 — Steve Levy and and Stuart Scott, ESPN

In Part two of the latest Fang’s Bites podcast, we continue our visit to ESPN. This was for Media Day which unveiled the new 194,000 square foot Digital Center 2 on the Alleged Worldwide Leader’s Bristol campus. It’s a big building and will house SportsCenter and ESPN’s NFL studio programming.

In Part 1, ESPN President John Skipper talked to the media in Bristol about DC-2, SportsCenter and various sports media and business subjects.

In this installment, long-time SportsCenter anchors Steve Levy and Stuart Scott talk to the media. They actually begin with a multiple choice game in which Steve tries to answer questions about Stuart and vice-versa to determine how much they know about each other. Both Levy and Scott began at ESPN in 1993 and have played key roles in the expansion of SportsCenter.

Levy called the NHL on ESPN in the early part of this century and Scott also hosted NBA Countdown at one point.

Levy and Scott mostly discussed SportsCenter and the new DC-2 building in their extended talk with the media.
