ESPN to Air MLS Cup Opposite SEC Championship on CBS

This Saturday, ESPN will air Major League Soccer’s MLS Cup live from Kansas City at 4 p.m. ET. You may think that time is interesting as it’s also the same time as the SEC Championship on CBS. Odd timing for the MLS Cup, but in the past, it had been played on Sunday nights opposite NBC’s Sunday Night Football, so ESPN and MLS can’t win for trying.

In any event, Sporting KC will host Real Salt Lake. ESPN’s MLS voice Adrian Healey will call the game and he’ll be joined by Taylor Twellman with Monica Gonzalez on the sidelines.

Hosting will be the always consistent Max Bretos. Casey Keller, the angry Alexi Lalas and Alejandro Moreno will be the analysts alongside Bretos.

We have the particulars of ESPN’s coverage of the MLS Cup.
