Comcast SportsNet New England’s and Philadelphia’s College Football Schedules

As we’re getting ready for college football, let’s post what Comcast SportsNet affiliates in New England and Philadelphia will air this season. For New England, CSN New England will re-air most Boston College games in addition to Colonial Athletic Association games involving the University of Rhode Island and University of Massachusetts. New England will also carry some Big 12 and Pac 10 Fox Sports Net games. Let’s give you the CSN NE press release first, then Philadelphia after the break.

UMASS-UNH MATCHUP AND SUNDAY REPLAYS OF 2010 FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

42 Game Slate Mixes ACC, Colonial Athletic, Pac-10 and Big 12 Action
BURLINGTON, MA –  Comcast SportsNet announced today its full college football schedule, highlighted by live coverage of the anticipated Colonial Athletic Association matchup between UMass and New Hampshire from Gillette Stadium on October 23, and replays of 11 Boston College contests.
Comcast SportsNet’s full schedule features 13 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), 8 Big-12 and 10 Pac-10 games. New England colleges New Hampshire, UMass, Maine and Rhode Island are prominently featured. The UMass-UNH game at Gillette Stadium will run October 23 at 3:30 p.m.
Comcast SportsNet’s Boston College replays will run every Sunday at 8:30 p.m. and Monday at 4 p.m. The schedule includes major matchups with Notre Dame, Virginia Tech and Florida State.
“Comcast SportsNet’s college football schedule offers tons of exposure for the top New England schools in the championship subdivision and gives BC fans a second chance to watch the region’s most prominent college football program,” said Bill Bridgen. “The UMass-UNH game in Foxboro will draw significant attention for New England football fans. PHILADELPHIA- (August 25, 2010) – Comcast SportsNet, together with The Comcast Network, provides college football fans with the most comprehensive local and national football coverage by airing over 70 games. The extensive schedule features the defending NCAA Division-I Football Championship Subdivision National Champions Villanova, plus Delaware Blue Hens and University of Pennsylvania Quakers games, and national games from powerhouse conferences PAC-10, SEC and Big 12. 
The 2010 schedule includes six appearances by Villanova, four by Delaware and two by Penn including these highlighted games:  Villanova vs. Penn on Saturday, September 25 at 7 p.m. (TCN); Delaware at James Madison on Saturday, October 2 at 12 p.m. (TCN) and Villanova at Delaware on Saturday, November 20 at 12 p.m. (TCN).
