NHL on NBC Sports Group Announcing Assignments Through Sunday, May 6

Thanks once again to the fine people at NBC Sports Group Public Relations for sending me the information. I know that The Group is in celebration mode after winning 9 Sports Emmy Awards last night and I’ll be posting the Emmy Award press releases from the networks later.

But first, this is the post regarding NHL on NBC Sports Group announcing assignments for today through Sunday. Yes, Mike Emrick, Eddie Olcyzk and Pierre McGuire are assigned to Rangers-Caps. McGuire pulls double duty on the Flyers-Devils series and he’ll call that with Kenny Albert. And John Forslund and Joe Micheletti stay on the Phoenix-Nashville series and Dave Strader and Brian Engblom are on Kings-Blues.

Here are the dates, times, announcing assignments and networks for the week.

Tuesday, May 1

Game 2: New Jersey at Philadelphia, NBC Sports Network, 7:30 p.m. — Kenny Albert/Pierre McGuire

Wednesday, May 2

Game 3: New York Rangers at Washington Capitals, NBC Sports Network, 7:30 p.m. — Mike Emrick/Ed Olcyzk/Pierre McGuire
Game 3: Phoenix at Nashville, CNBC, 9 p.m. — John Forslund/Joe Micheletti

Thursday, May 3

Game 3: Philadelphia at New Jersey, NBC Sports Network, 7:30 p.m. — Kenny Albert/Pierre McGuire
Game 3: St. Louis at Los Angeles, NBC Sports Network, 10 p.m. — Dave Strader/Brian Engblom/Brian Heyward

Friday, May 4

Game 4: Phoenix at Nashville, NBC Sports Network, 7:30 p.m. — John Forslund/Joe Micheletti

Saturday, May 5
