NY Mets Pitcher Johan Santana To Appear On Late Show With David Letterman

The man who pitched the Mets’ first-ever no-hitter in the team’s history, Johan Santana, will make an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman tonight. He’ll provide the Top Ten list.

And Dave will also have Indianapolis 500 winner Dario Franchitti among his guests.

NEW YORK METS PITCHER JOHAN SANTANA, WHO THREW THE FIRST NO-HITTER IN THE TEAM’S HISTORY FRIDAY, WILL PRESENT THE TOP TEN LIST ON CBS’ “LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN” TONIGHT

NEW  YORK, June 4 – New York Mets pitcher Johan Santana, who threw the first no-hitter in the team’s history Friday night, will present the Top Ten List on the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Monday, June 4 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Santana will present the Top Ten List via satellite from the Mets’ home stadium, Citi Field, where the team finishes their series against the St. Louis Cardinals today. Santana threw 134 pitches over nine innings with eight strikeouts and no hits allowed against the Cardinals in the Mets’ 8-0 win Friday night, ending the franchise’s no-hitter drought that had lasted 51 seasons and 8,019 games.

Also visiting the LATE SHOW tonight are comedian Joan Rivers, Indianapolis 500 winner Dario Franchitti and musical guests Silversun Pickups.

The LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN is a production of Worldwide Pants Incorporated. Barbara Gaines, Matt Roberts, Jude Brennan, Maria Pope, Eric Stangel, Justin Stangel and Rob Burnett are the executive producers.
