And CBS Sports provides quotage from its NFL Today studio crew during the halftime of today’s extremely ugly 47-10 Tennessee Titans demolishing of the Detroit Lions.

FROM CBS SPORTS’ “THE NFL TODAY” ON THANKSGIVING DAY

Halftime report from THE NFL TODAY with the Tennessee Titans leading the Detroit Lions, 35-10

(On rotating the Thanksgiving Day game)

BILL COWHER: The game has become a part of tradition. Right now that tradition should be able to be shared by everybody in the country. Every team should have an opportunity to host this game, not just always in Detroit.

SHANNON SHARPE (aka “The Unknown Tight End” wearing a bag over his head): This is not very good. We have kids watching this. This is the most watched football game of the year because everyone is sitting around the television eating Thanksgiving dinner watching football, and they have to watch the Detroit Lions…This is ridiculous. The Detroit Lions every single year. This is what we have to go through.

BOOMER ESIASON: Unless my former (University of Maryland) roommate and former Buffalo Bills quarterback, Frank Reich, is coming out of that locker room – the Lions have no shot!

I don’t think Fox will sending anything over tonight, but you never know. Keep your RSS feeds updated.
