NATHAN GREEN LOOKS TO DEFEND AT “RBC CANADIAN OPEN” ON CBS SPORTS THIS WEEKEND, JULY 24-25
Australian Nathan Green aims to defend his title at the RBC CANADIAN OPEN as Canada’s national championship returns to historic St. George’s Golf and Country Club for the first time since 1968 and the fifth time overall. CBS Sports covers all the action from Etobicoke, Ontario, broadcasting the third and final rounds on Saturday, July 24 and Sunday, July 25 (3:00-6:00 PM, ET, both days), live on the CBS Television Network.

Bill Macatee anchors CBS Sports’ coverage of the RBC Canadian Open from the 18th hole tower this weekend alongside Ian Baker-Finch. Peter Oosterhuis, who won the 1981 Canadian Open, calls the action at the 17th hole and Peter Kostis at the 16th hole. David Feherty serves as on-course reporter.
Lance Barrow is Coordinating Producer of CBS Sports’ golf coverage. Steve Milton directs. Harold Bryant is Vice President, Production, CBS Sports.

Last year, Green defeated Retief Goosen for his first PGA TOUR title at the RBC Canadian Open at Glen Abbey Golf Club in a Monday two-hole playoff. Green became the sixth international player to win this tournament since 1980. The last Canadian to win this tournament was Pat Fletcher in 1954. Canada’s only major championship winner, Mike Weir (2003 Masters®), has not won the Canadian Open but came close in 2004 when he lost a playoff to Vijay Singh. Green and Weir take on a field that includes Goosen, Paul Casey, Camilo Villegas, Sean O’Hair, Luke Donald, Tim Clark, Matt Kuchar, Hunter Mahan, Fred Couples, David Duval, Ricky Barnes, Scott McCarron, Ricky Barnes, Lee Janzen, Charley Hoffman, Aaron Baddeley, Rocco Mediate, Trevor Immelman, Stuart Appelby, Chad Campbell, Charlie Wi  and Brandt Snedeker.

That’s it.
