SEC Gridiron LIVE Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET on FOX Sports South

Auburn Hosts Ball State on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET in HD

This week, SEC football on FOX Sports South features the undefeated Auburn Tigers (3-0) and the Ball State Cardinals (0-3) of the Mid-American Conference. The Tigers host the Cardinals at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Ala. on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on FOX Sports South in high definition. The SEC has fared well against non-conference opponents in 2009 with a 19-2 record and the highest non-conference winning percentage of any FBS conference. Play-by-play announcer Bob Rathbun will be joined by analyst Dave Archer and sideline reporter Jenn Hildreth in the FOX Sports South booth.

On Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET on FOX Sports South, SEC Gridiron LIVE and hosted by Charles Davis previews and picks all eight SEC games, including Arkansas’ contest against Alabama, a showdown between the SEC’s No. 1 total offense and No. 1 total defense. Analysts Randy Cross and David Pollack give out “Chinstraps,” which recognize gutsy gridiron performances, and social media reporter Cassidy Hubbarth goes behind the scenes at the Southeastern Raptor Center at Auburn University with a special look at Spirit the Eagle. Throughout the show, fans will have the opportunity to interact and debate with each other and the team of in-studio experts via Twitter, Facebook and email.

Barnhart to Examine Inconsistencies and Controversies of Major Polls


CBS COLLEGE SPORTS NETWORKs THE TONY BARNHART SHOW, a new weekly one-hour primetime college football talk show, features former Ole Miss quarterback Archie Manning, University of Miami head coach Randy Shannon and Actor David Keith on Tuesday, Sept 22 (9:00 PM, ET).

“Mr. College Football,” Tony Barnhart hosts the show along with Brian Jones. The hard-hitting program will debate and analyze the hot topics and issues facing college football both on and off-the-field. This week Barnhart and Jones examine the voting inconsistencies and controversies associated with the major polls.


Throughout the season Barnhart will invite a variety of high-profile guests from the college football community, including coaches, administrators, writers, broadcasters and former players to the program. The distinguished guests will offer in-depth, lively, opinionated, topical discussions on the world of college football.


The TONY BARNHART SHOW will air each Tuesday throughout the college football season at 9:00 PM, ET. Mike Aresco serves as Executive Producer. Tyler Hale and Stefan Van Engen produce.
