Merry Christmas Wishes, Part I
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I would send the above card out, but instead of flooding e-mail inboxes, I figure I would embed this card here so everyone can see it and so I can give thanks to the hardworking public relations departments from the TV and radio networks that send press releases to Fang’s Bites. Their work does not go unnoticed on this end.
For many of you, the names will not be familiar, but they are fine men and women who give 110% so they can spread the word on their employers in hopes of generating buzz, getting news coverage and giving their networks some publicity in advance of various sporting events. Having done PR work and been in the news business, I appreciate what they do so I recognize the people who have sent press releases or have been kind to respond to various requests I’ve made via e-mail or on Twitter in the past year. Some people may have left over the past year from their various departments and I’m also listing them with their former networks.
Big Ten Network – Elizabath Conlisk, Mike Vest
CBC – James Lamont, Libby Stunt
CBS Sports/CBS College Sports – Robin Brendle, Gerald Caraccioli, Jennifer Sabatelle, Dan Sabreen

Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia – Maureen Quilter
ESPN – Kristie Chong, Bill Hofheimer, Crystal Howard, Mike Humes, Kimberly Jessup, Keri Potts, Josh Krulewitz, Diane Lamb, Chris LaPlaca, Alison Lazar, Colleen Lynch, Rachel Margolis, Paul Melvin, Dave Nagle, Mac Nwulu, Nate Smeltz, Mike Soltys, Rob Tobias
Fox Soccer Channel – Chelsea Hettrick, Ben Alkaly
Fox Sports/Fox Sports Net – Chris Belitti, Dan Bell, Lou D’Ermilio, Eddie Motl, Ileana Pena, Liliana Rosales

I think I have everybody that has sent me a network TV press release over the last year.
Thanks also to Joe Favorito who has done publicity for the play, “Lombardi”. I have to see the play before it closes, which I hope won’t be for a long time.
Happy Holidays to all and I’ll have a couple of more holiday posts before the night is out.
Merry Christmas
I wanted to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas. I’m taking a break from blogging today, but I’ll be back tomorrow with the megalinks. See you then.
If you’re having a White Christmas, then this scene will remind you of the snow. If you’re in a region that does not have any snow, then you can look at the picture to see what you’re missing.
