Hilarious
Presidential Bro-in-Law Photobombs The President
On this Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, some of you might have taken the time to watch President Obama’s inauguration. I certainly did and was not expecting anything noteworthy to occur, but thanks to social media, HDTV and an iPhone camera, we’re able to spot some funny things that otherwise might be missed. Well, during the reading of a poem, I was flipping back and forth among the channels carrying the event and I happened to spot Oregon State basketball coach Craig Robinson (and brother-in-law of the President) sitting behind the just-sworn-in Mr. Obama and noticed the coach photobombing the President.
I thought it was hilarious so thanks to my DirecTV DVR, I was able to rewind the event to the precise moment when Robinson gave his funny expression, took the shot off my TV with my iPhone and posted it to Twitter.
You can see it for yourself right here.

It quickly was retweeted to the point where it ran all over the country. It’s also been picked up by various sites including Mashable, SportsGrid, College Basketball Talk and CBSSports.com.
Very funny pic to bring some levity to the proceedings.
John Clayton Shows Us His Ponytail! Well, It’s Fake, But It’s Still Funny!
Dan Patrick has been teasing John Clayton over the years about having a ponytail. It’s gotten to the point where people have been looking at Clayton to see if this is true (it’s not). But the fact that it was discussed so much got under Clayton’s skin. However, in a “This is SportsCenter” promo, Clayton pokes fun at the ponytail idea. This shows him actually adorning one and also wearing a Slayer t-shirt. Now if John Clayton were an actual metalhead, I would have newfound respect for him.
But we have this promo to imagine what Clayton would look like if he actually had a ponytail. Watch and enjoy.
I just wish there were video of John Clayton at a Slayer concert doing the metal salute.
Ron Burgundy on The Dan Patrick Show
It’s only been eight years since we last saw Ron Burgundy and the Channel 4 Evening News team. Well, on Wednesday, Ron showed up on TBS’ Conan to announce that indeed, a sequel to Anchorman, The Legend of Ron Burgundy will be produced. Let me say that it’s about time. Anchorman was one of the first comedy classics in the 21st Century and remains revered by fans today.
Ron’s appearance on Conan has been embedded all over the place, but since I haven’t been able to update the site as much as I’d like this week, let’s post it here as well.
Truly a very funny appearance. And to top it off, Burgundy called in to the Dan Patrick Show and we have that appearance thanks to Comcast SportsNet Chicago. Ron tells us that he was originally against a sequel, but thanks to a lot of money, he was all in.
That’s it.
Juan Manuel Marquez Wears A Sombrero To Cover His Hooha
Last night after the controversial majority decision handing boxer Manny Pacquaio a controversial win over Juan Manuel Marquez, HBO Sports went to conduct post fight interviews. Marquez left the ring furious, however, boxing charlatan Max Kellerman found him in his locker room. But by the time Marquez had reached what he thought was the sanctity of his quarters, he had stripped off his trunks. It led to a funny scene where Marquez used a sombrero to hide his manjunk during the entire interview.
Timothy Burke has the vidcap at the Mocksession site.
James Quintong of ESPN Fantasy Sports had the reaction that spoke for all of us.
Since the event was on pay per view, there would have been nothing wrong had Marquez decided to show the full Monty, but the sombrero makes this funnier.
Truly one of the best moments in sports from a week that was unlike any other.
