Blazin’ Blondie? Kieshka?

Thanks to Deadspin for pointing this out. At Hollywood Park the other day, there was a bikini race. Not horses in bikinis, mind you, but women in bikinis. Names of the women were strange, but why depict women as racing animals (credit Deadspin for that line)? I’m all for seeing women in bikinis (beach volleyball comes to mind), but is this right? Talk to me. Leave me your comments. Inquiring minds want to know.

EDITED TO ADD – I guess this is not a one-time event. I see that the “Bikini Beach Mile” was run last year, also at Hollywood Park.
