Return to Work Links

Time to give you some links as we all get back to work from a holiday weekend.

Starting with USA Today, Michael Hiestand writes about Fox Sports preparing to do the BCS games.

Phil Mushnick of the New York Post is still in a bad mood and he’s complaining about the length of college football games.

In his Watch This! blog, Jim Williams of the DC/Baltimore Examiner reviews Sunday’s NFL pregame shows.

Scott Brown of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review looks at the preparation the ESPN Monday Night Football crew undergo for their games.

Plenty of fallout with the Green Bay-Dallas game on the NFL Network this Thursday. Bob McManaman of the Arizona Republic says the NFL should not shovel big games to its own NFL Network. Jeff Mullin of the Enid (OK) News and Eagle opines that the fans lose out when the NFL Network has the Dallas Cowboys as is the case this Thursday night. David Bossick of the Chippewa (WI) Herald says there are plenty of things to gripe about with the NFL Network carrying the Packers-Cowboys game. Richard Martin of New West in Montana says the NFL is ripping off the fans.

In the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Bob Wolfley talks with John Madden about Thursday’s Green Bay-Dallas game.

For those of you who care, the Aspen (CO) Daily Times previews the Winter X Games which will air on the ESPN family of networks in January.

That’s it for now. I’ll have an update later.
