The NFL on CBS has provided its announcing assignments for the next three weeks. Week 2 is when CBS begins Thursday Night Football coverage. Also note that Jim Nantz, Phil Simms and Tracy Wolfson will be doing double duty on Thursdays and Sundays in Weeks 2 and 3.
In Week 4, Ian Eagle, Dan Fouts and Jenny Dell head across the Atlantic to London to call the Miami-Oakland game at Wembley Stadium.
CBS’ first crossover game occurs in Week 2 when Atlanta visits Cincinnati. In the past, that would be a Fox game as the NFC network would cover that game. And in Week 4, CBS has another crossover with Carolina at Baltimore. Both are 1 p.m. ET games.
