NFL on CBS Announcing Assignments for Week 5 of the 2014 Season

CBS has released the assignments for Week 5 of this season. That will signify a doubleheader for the Tiffany Network. The feature games will be Houston at Dallas and Baltimore at Indianapolis early and Kansas City at San Francisco and New York Jets at San Diego late. Once again, Jim Nantz, Phil Simms and Tracy Wolfson will work two games that week as they’ll be at Lambeau Field for Minnesota at Green Bay for Thursday Night Football and then head to Santa Clara for their first visit to Levi’s Stadium for KC-SF.

On Sunday, October 5, CBS will have six games on its airwaves.

Here’s where the assignments fall in Week 5 for this season.

Following are THE NFL ON CBS assignments for Week 4 and Week 5 (subject to change):

October 2 – THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

8:25 PM, ET start:

  • Minnesota @ Green Bay — Jim Nantz/Phil Simms//Tracy Wolfson

October 5 – CBS DOUBLEHEADER

1:00 PM, ET starts:

  • Houston @ Dallas — Ian Eagle/Dan Fouts//Jenny Dell
  • Baltimore @ Indianapolis — Kevin Harlan/Rich Gannon
  • Pittsburgh @ Jacksonville — Spero Dedes/Solomon Wilcots
  • Cleveland @ Tennessee — Andrew Catalon/Steve Tasker/Steve Beuerlein

4:25 PM, ET starts:

  • Kansas City @ San Francisco — Jim Nantz/Phil Simms//Tracy Wolfson
  • New York Jets @ San Diego — Greg Gumbel/Trent Green//Evan Washburn
