This from the fine people at CBS Sports. With Super Bowl Week fast approaching, the various sports television networks have unveiled their plans to provide programming for the days leading up to the Big Game in New Jersey.
I’ll post what you can expect to watch on CBS, ESPN and NBC’s Family of Networks today. I’ve already posted what’s in store for Fox and Fox Sports 1, but today us for the other networks.
We begin with CBS Sports and with the Super Bowl to be played in the New York/New Jersey area, the Tiffany Network and its affiliated cable networks are ready to utilize their existing infrastructure to cover the NFL’s Championship Game.
CBS Sports Network will be front and center with Boomer & Carton, NFL Monday QB, a daily edition of That Other Pregame Show, ROME and Lead Off originating from New York.
Showtime’s Inside the NFL hosted by James Brown with analysts Phil Simms and Cris Collinsworth will be joined by Atlanta Falcons defensive end Osi Umenyiora as they’ll preview the Big Game.
And CBS Sports Radio’s daily schedule will broadcast live from Radio Row in New York.
Here’s the CBS rundown of where everybody will be during Super Bowl Week.
CBS SPORTS FEATURES WEEK-LONG PROGRAMMING FROM NEW YORK LEADING UP TO SUPER BOWL XLVIII
CBS Sports Network to Air “NFL MONDAY QB,” “THAT OTHER PREGAME SHOW,” “ROME” and “LEAD OFF” from the CBS Broadcast Center
WFAN-AM/FM’s “BOOMER AND CARTON” to be Simulcast on CBS Sports Network Live from M&M’s World Times SquareCBS Sports features comprehensive programming from New York during the week leading up to Super Bowl XLVIII with coverage across CBS Sports Network, CBSSports.com, CBS Sports Radio and SHOWTIME. The CBS Sports family of networks will air more than 100 hours of live programming nationally, originating from New York City.
CBS SPORTS NETWORK
CBS Sports Network’s coverage features over 40 hours of original programming, providing analysis, commentary and reports from the Super Bowl week events around New York and New Jersey. Programming is anchored by THAT OTHER PREGAME SHOW, the Network’s Sunday pregame show, which expands to five days during Super Bowl week.
WFAN-AM/FM’s BOOMER AND CARTON (Monday-Friday, 6:00-10:00 AM, ET), kicks off the Network’s week-long programming. NFL ON CBS studio analyst Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton get each day started from M&M’s World Times Square, featuring numerous interviews with current and former players and coaches, and a variety of national celebrities from the entertainment and music industries.
NFL MONDAY QB airs on Monday, Jan. 27 (7:00 PM, ET), bringing together an elite roster of quarterbacks to provide analysis purely from a quarterback’s perspective. The show features NFL ON CBS quarterbacks Phil Simms, Rich Gannon and Steve Beuerlein. Adam Schein hosts.
THAT OTHER PREGAME SHOW airs Tuesday, Jan. 28-Friday, Jan. 31 (7:00-9:00 PM, ET) and on Sunday, Feb. 2 (10:00 AM-12:00 NOON, ET). Schein hosts and is joined by Bart Scott, Amy Trask, Brandon Tierney and Allie LaForce, along with special appearances by current NFL players, to provide a unique fan-focused take on the Super Bowl.
ROME moves East for the week as veteran sports personality Jim Rome tackles the day’s biggest stories on ROME (Monday-Friday, 6:00-6:30 PM, ET). Rome will be joined by special guests throughout the week from the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City.
LEAD OFF closes out each night from the CBS Broadcast Center with co-hosts Doug Gottlieb and Allie LaForce discussing each day’s sports, entertainment and pop culture headlines (Monday-Friday, 12:00-1:00 AM, ET). LEAD OFF also airs Sunday, Feb. 2 (11:30 PM, ET) to recap the game.

Atlanta Falcons defensive end Osi Umenyiora joins host James Brown and analysts, All-Pro greats Phil Simms and Cris Collinsworth on a special Super Bowl edition of INSIDE THE NFL on SHOWTIME on Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 9:00 PM, ET/PT. INSIDE THE NFL previews the Super Bowl with trademark highlights from NFL Films, special in-depth features and spirited debate on the hottest topics heading into the big game.
CBS SPORTS RADIO
CBS Sports Radio’s TBD IN THE AM with Tiki Barber, Brandon Tierney and Dana Jacobson, JOHN FEINSTEIN SHOW, JIM ROME SHOW and DOUG GOTTLIEB SHOW each air live from Radio Row throughout the week, with MOJO, hosted by Chris Moore and Brian Jones, joining the Radio Row coverage from Wednesday-Friday. John Kincade hosts live from Radio Row on Saturday, Feb. 1 (10:00 AM-2:00 PM, ET).

CBSSports.com will have 10 writers reporting from New York during the week leading up to the game. Coverage includes game tape breakdowns of the key matchups by Senior NFL Columnist Pete Prisco, in-depth looks at the top storylines from NFL Insiders Jason La Canfora and Pat Kirwan, and perspective from National Columnist Gregg Doyel. The site also will feature picks and predictions during the week by all of its NFL experts. On-demand video offerings include interviews with athletes and celebrities from Radio Row and news updates from correspondents on the scene in New York.
