ESPN/ABC Combine for Five Christmas Day NBA Games

ESPN and ABC will team up to air all of the NBA’s Christmas Day games starting at noon ET with the Chicago Bulls taking on the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center and lasting until 1 a.m. after the Los Angeles Clippers at Golden State Warriors game in Oakland.

Unlike the last couple of years when Mike Breen and Jeff Van Gundy would call two of the five games, there are no announcers jetting across the country or flying up the West Coast for any publicity stunts. Five different announcing crews will call each of the games.

ESPN Radio will broadcast the two ABC games, Oklahoma City at New York and Miami at the Los Angeles Lakers.

ESPN Deportes will air four of the five holiday games.

Here is the schedule and announcing assignments. It’s all below plus the details of what ESPN is calling its “Christmas Day Broadcast Open.”
