ESPN Unveils Announcers for All of its 38 College Football Postseason Games

Well, Brent Musburger may not be involved in the College Football Playoff, but he will be calling one of the bowls involved in the CFP rotation. And interestingly enough, Brent will be headed to the Las Vegas Bowl. Brent in Vegas? This is where legends are made.

For the College Football Playoff Semifinals and National Championship Game on January 1, 2015 and January 12 respectively, ESPN has assigned Chris Fowler and Brad Nessler as the play-by-play men. Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Heather Cox and Tom Rinaldi will be in Pasadena, CA for the Rose Bowl which will be one of the national semifinals and that will have Oregon and Florida State at 5 p.m. ET on New Year’s Day. That will be followed by the Sugar Bowl with Alabama and Ohio State facing off in the Louisiana Superdome. Nessler, Todd Blackledge and Holly Rowe will be on that game.

Then for the National Championship Game in Arlington, TX, Fowler, Herbie, Heather and Rinaldi will be on the call to end the college football season.

As for the games not involved in the College Football Playoff, Bowl season begins on Saturday, December 20 with five games, four on ESPN and one on ABC. It starts with the New Orleans Bowl on the Mothership at 11 a.m. ET and ends with the Camellia Bowl at 9:15 p.m. The lone game on ABC that afternoon will be the aforementioned Las Vegas Bowl with Brent, Jesse Palmer and Maria Taylor.

We have the 1,473-word press release from ESPN with all of its bowl games and College Football Playoff contests with all of the announcing assignments. Take a look.
