TBS Provides Announcing Teams For MLB League Division Series

Now that we have the schedule for the first three days of the League Division Series, TBS has provided the announcing assignments for the games. We already knew that Don Orsillo, Buck Martinez and Jaime Maggio would be calling the Oakland-Detroit series and Brian Anderson, Ron Darling, Joe Simpson and Tom Verducci would be on the Cincinnati-San Francisco series. We could deduce the other two series, but TBS made it official just now.

Ernie Johnson, Jr., Cal Ripken, John Smoltz and Craig Sager’s loud suits will be spending time on the series involving the New York Yankees and American League Wild Card winner. And that leaves Dick Stockton, Bob Brenly and David Aldredge on the series with the Washington Nationals-National League Wild Card winner.

Matt Winer, Dennis Eckersley and David Wells will be in the studio throughout the LDS.

Here’s the TBS press release.
