TBS just sent this press release about its ratings for Monday’s American League Division Series action. For Game 3 of the Yankees-Tigers series, TBS received a 4.8 overnight rating, 30% up from last year’s Yankees-Twins game. And Game 3’s for Texas-Tampa Bay, a 2.8 rating was even with last year’s game involving the same two teams.
Locally, Detroit had a big rating for Game 3, a 25.0. New York garnered 13.2. And for Texas-Tampa Bay, the Dallas Metroplex area and Tampa/St. Pete also rated high.

The first game of TBS’s doubleheader coverage of the LDS featured Game 3 of the Texas Rangers at Tampa Bay Rays (5:00 p.m. ET). The game delivered a 2.8 meter market rating, even with last year’s coverage of Game 3 of the Texas Rangers vs. Tampa Bay Rays series.
