Due to the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the New York Knicks-Brooklyn Nets game has been canceled. It had been scheduled to start after 7 p.m. ET and air on TNT. However, as the conditions in New York have not improved, the NBA made the right decision to cancel the game. So TNT will air two episodes of The Mentalist followed by a half-hour of NBA Tip-Off at 9 p.m. That will be followed by the originally scheduled late game of the NBA on TNT doubleheader, Oklahoma City at San Antonio.
Kevin Harlan, Reggie Miller and David Aldridge will be on hand for the game.
Here’s the revised schedule for Thursday night.
The NBA game between the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets, previously scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. ET on TNT, has been postponed due to conditions in the New York area caused by Hurricane Sandy. TNT will televise the Oklahoma City Thunder at San Antonio Spurs, as originally scheduled, at 9:30 p.m.
The network will also televise the NBA Tip-Off pre-game show at 9 p.m. and the Inside the NBA post-game show following live game coverage.
TNT will air two one-hour episodes of The Mentalist prior to Thursday’s NBA coverage from 7-9 p.m.
