The NFL on CBS Announcing Teams for 2012-13 Season
by Ken, under CBS Sports, NFLNo major changes in the NFL on CBS announcing lineup. Since CBS returned to the NFL in 1998, there has been just a few upheavals in its announcing teams. There has been more changes to The NFL Today than the actual announcing teams.
Although it appears Don Criqui and Randy Cross who were good to call about four to six games have been dropped. That’s due to the increase of Thursday Night Football games on NFL Network.

Eric Mann is senior producer for THE NFL TODAY, while Bob Matina directs. Harold Bryant is Executive Producer & Vice President, Production, CBS Sports.
McManus also serves as Executive Producer for THE NFL ON CBS.
That will do it.

I understand that Baltimore is in a relatively small TV market but is seems unfair that we are perpetually sentenced to the announcing team of Greg Gumbel/Dan Dierdorf. I know we don't rate Nantz/Simms but Sean, does anybody ever actually listen to these guys? Totally unprepared and disengaged. Barely phoning it in. There are some local guys doing high school games who would do a better job.
