Day 5 of the 2012 Olympics on NBC Beats Beijing Again

As I watch Olympic Judo on the NBC Olympics Live Extra App, I’ll provide a quick blurb on the overnight ratings for Day 5 of the London Olympics on NBC.

Once again the numbers are better than the 2008 Games which were a mixture of live action and tape delays. For the entirely taped primetime presentation on Wednesday night, NBC did quite well outpacing Beijing.

NBC Sports Public Relations tweeted this info.

20.1/33 overnight for last night’s Olympics on NBC, up from same night in Beijing (19.6/32). Look for viewers and digital data later today

If I get the bullet points that NBC usually issues for the overnights, I’ll post it here. If not, I’ll have the final ratings info later.
