Continuing its policy of announcing its live game schedule for the final two months of the regular season to assure the best possible matchups, MLB Network has just announced what it will air for the Labor Day holiday doubleheader and the Tuesday Night game the following night.
On Labor Day, September 5, MLB Network will carry the Baltimore Orioles visiting the New York Yankees at 1 p.m. Eastern and then in the nightcap, the channel will air Atlanta at Philadelphia in a National League East battle at 7 p.m. ET.
And MLB Network will pick up the second game of the Braves-Phillies series on Tuesday Night Baseball. Of course, the games are subject to blackout in the home markets so fans in the affected areas will receive alternate contests.
Here’s the announcement from MLB Network.
