Tampa Bay Rays On ESPN’s Sunday Night and Monday Night Baseball

ESPN will be doing double duty from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg at the Tampa Bay Rays host the Red Sox on Sunday Night Baseball and then the New York Yankees on Monday Night Baseball. The usual Sunday Night crew of Dan Shulman, Orel Hershiser and Bobby Valentine will be in the booth while Buster Olney and Wendi Nix report from the field.

On Monday, Karl Ravech steps out of the studio to call the Yankees-Rays game for Sean McDonough who will be returning from calling the Open Championship. We have the details from ESPN.

Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday and Monday Night Baseball

AL East rivals will collide on Sunday Night Baseball on July 17 when Adrian Gonzalez and the Boston Red Sox visit Evan Longoria and the Tampa Bay Rays at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. Dan Shulman will provide commentary with analysts Orel Hershiser and Bobby Valentine and reporters Buster Olney and Wendi Nix. Sunday Night Baseball is also available on ESPN Radio (with Jon Sciambi and Chris Singleton), ESPN Deportes, ESPN3.com and ESPN Mobile TV.

The Rays will make back-to-back appearances when they host Mark Teixeira and the New York Yankees on ESPN’s Monday Night Baseball on July 18, at 7 p.m.  Karl Ravech will handle play-by-play with analysts Rick Sutcliffe and Aaron Boone, and reporter Tim Kurkjian. Monday Night Baseball is also available on ESPN3.com and ESPN Mobile TV.
