CBC couldn’t be more pleased to have Vancouver in the Stanley Cup Final and also getting the Boston Bruins which have a following in the country as well. This should do quite well for CBC considering that an average of four million people across Canada watched the Western Conference Final. This marks the third time Vancouver has made it to the Final and will be the first time the team will have won the Stanley Cup, if successful.
Jim Hughson and Craig Simpson call the game from the booth. Glenn Healey will be down below between the benches while Scott Oake and Elliotte Friedman will report from ice level.
Of course, Ron MacLean will host and Don Cherry will provide his thoughts on Coach’s Corner during the first intermission of each game.
Here’s the press release from CBC Sports.
