Last release I’ll provide tonight.
Westwood One Radio has provided the announcers for the NFC and AFC Championship Games for Sunday. Kevin Harlan calls the NFC while Dave Sims will be in Pittsburgh for the AFC. Because CBS has the NFL Today crew in New York once again, it prevents Boomer Esiason from calling a game live. CBS used to be at the AFC Championship Game site, but in recent years due to economic cutbacks, it has chosen to stay at the CBS Broadcast Center. It used to be fun seeing Boomer live on the NFL Today, then hearing him on the radio, but that hasn’t happened in the last few years.
Anyway, here’s Westwood One’s announcement.
