Monday Update

I have to start out by saying the US Open has got to work with rightsholders CBS and whomever will hold the cable contract next year (USA Network, Tennis Channel, ESPN) to allow live streaming of its matches. Right now, trying to find streams from other rightsholders has been quite difficult. EuroSport from Spain and […]

Back to Work Monday Linkage

It’s tough to be back to work on a Monday after having a nice weekend, but it’s back to the grind, but it’s also nice knowing that there’s a 3 day weekend just ahead. I’m certainly looking forward to that. But in the meantime, let’s get to our links. First, I’ll monitor the Michael Vick […]

Videos of the Week

Time for the Videos of the Week. I can safely say the best band touring right now is Rage Against the Machine. The guys of Rage without lead singer Zach de la Rocha were with former Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell for a while in Audioslave, but I do hope RATM does some new stuff. But […]

My computer has been slow as molasses this afternoon and this is despite rebooting it several times. So this update may be short and I’ll give a full-fledged update tonight. Let’s start with some press releases from CBS Sports. First, the network televises its final NFL exhibition game tonight (New England at Carolina) and in […]

The Friday Linkage

I briefly checked WEEI this morning to listen to Dan Patrick and he was good as usual. Teamed with Tom Curran of NBC Sports.com and unfortunately, Jon Meterperel, Dan was very good interacting with callers and his co-hosts. Only one week removed from leaving ESPN Radio, there certainly is no rust on Dan. He’s a […]

Let’s check out the links for today. The Big Ten Network and Mediacom Cable are denying reports that a deal has been struck to have the channel carried in Iowa, but Scott Dochterman of the Iowa City Gazette reports that a source is saying that a deal is done. However, the story is different in […]
